COP stands for Car Operating Panel. The COP is the control panel located inside the elevator car that allows passengers to select the desired floor, open and close the doors, and control other functions of the elevator. The COP typically consists of a display panel, floor buttons, door control buttons, and emergency buttons. The display panel shows the current floor, direction of travel, and other information about the elevator’s operation. The COP is connected to the elevator control system, which controls the operation of the elevator. When a passenger presses a button on the COP, the control system receives the signal and initiates the appropriate action. For example, if a passenger presses the door open button on the COP, the control system will signal the elevator doors to open. The COP is located inside the elevator car and also the COP is connected to the elevator control system, which controls the operation of the elevator. During the COP operation procedures, the command board plays a vital role. 

The car command board is an interface for users to interact with the control system, also known as the car call board. The command board is used for the communication between the user and the communication board. The main function is to collect button calls and output signals of the button call indicators. It has the following characteristic:

● It can realize the primary and auxiliary control box buttons that in the elevator car to call the elevator.

● Support drivers, direct driving, fire fighting and independence input.

● Support for overloaded buzzer alarm output.
