The Importance of Door Light Curtain

The light curtain is mainly composed of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter emits infrared rays of a certain intensity to a certain area in the car, and the receiver is responsible for receiving these infrared rays. When a foreign object or a human body enters the area, it will block part or all of the infrared rays, causing the amount of infrared rays received by the receiver to change. This change will be detected immediately and trigger the stop mechanism of the light curtain.
1.Working principle of elevator light curtain
The working principle of the light curtain enables it to effectively prevent accidental collisions or touching the edge. When someone or a foreign object in the car enters the light curtain area, the elevator will automatically stop running, thus avoiding dangerous situations such as falling and collision. This preventive safety protection device not only improves the safety of elevator use, but also reduces the potential risk of injury and accidents.
2.Advantage of elevator light curtain
Light curtains have many advantages. First, they can effectively prevent accidental collisions or touching edges, improving the safety of passengers. Second, the installation and maintenance of light curtains are relatively simple and do not require extensive modifications to the elevator structure, so the cost is low. In addition, this safety protection device is also highly sensitive and responsive, and can quickly detect dangerous situations and take corresponding measures, further ensuring the safety of passengers.
3.Factors to consider when selecting a light curtain
When choosing a suitable elevator light curtain, you need to consider the following factors: first, make sure the model and specifications of the light curtain match the elevator model; second, choose the appropriate light curtain length and height based on the space and layout in the car; finally, choose a light curtain product with reliable quality and stable performance, and choose a reputable brand and manufacturer.
In short, the elevator light curtain is an advanced safety protection device that can effectively prevent accidental collisions or touching edges, improving the safety of passengers. When choosing a suitable light curtain, you need to consider factors such as the elevator model, the space layout in the car, and the quality and performance, so as to create a safe and comfortable riding environment.
The Main Structure in Escalator

With the continuous progress and development of society, the floors of shopping malls are getting higher and higher, and escalators are being more widely used in life.
1.The definition of the escalator
An escalator is a fixed electric drive device with circulating steps that uses a belt tensioning device to transport passengers upward or downward. The principle is actually very simple. A traction main machine runs with a drive chain, and the drive chain is equipped with steps or pedals. It is composed of a special structural chain conveyor and two special structural belt conveyors. It has a circulating moving ladder and is used to transport passengers upward or downward between different floors of a building. It is a fixed electric drive device, a continuous conveying machine for carrying people up and down.
2.The structure of escalator
An escalator is a large and complex transportation equipment with a mechanical structure as its main body. It is divided into eight parts according to its functions: supporting structure (truss), step system, guide rail system, handrail system, handrail device, safety protection device, electrical control system and automatic lubrication device.
2.1 Support structure
Truss, including the main metal frame (welded as a whole), auxiliary structure, generally including floor plate, comb plate, bottom plate of truss, as well as oil tank and garbage collection tray, etc.
2.2 Step system
This is the working part of the escalator, mainly composed of steps, drive mainframe, main drive shaft, step chain, step chain tensioning device, etc.
2.3 Handrail system
The main function of the handrail system is to provide passengers with movable handrails that move synchronously with the steps. The end-driven handrail system consists of handrails, handrail drive devices, handrail guides, tensioning wheel sets and guide wheels, etc.
2.4 Guide rail system
The guide rail system is mainly composed of working guide rails, return guide rails, turning guide rails and unloading guide rails, etc. Its function is to provide support and guidance for the movement of the steps, so it is also called the ladder path of the escalator.
2.5 Handrail device
The handrail device is located on both sides of the escalator, which plays a safety protection role for passengers. It is also the place where the handrail guide rails and handrails are installed. The handrail device is mainly composed of wall panels, inner cover panels, outer cover panels, apron panels and outer decorative panels.
2.6 Safety protection system
The safety protection system includes brakes (including additional brakes), overspeed protection, reversal protection, handrail entrance protection, drive chain safety monitoring, step monitoring, step chain monitoring, etc.
2.7 Electrical control system
It is mainly composed of electrical control circuits (including safety circuits), electric control cabinets, operating switches, elevators, etc. Its function is to operate and control the escalator.
2.8 Automatic lubrication device
It is composed of oil pumps, oil pipes, etc. Its function is to automatically lubricate transmission components such as the main drive shaft, step chain, main drive chain and handrail drive chain.
Escalators can be widely used in places with large crowds of people, such as stations, docks, shopping malls, airports and subways. In 1900, a stair-shaped moving ladder exhibited at the Paris International Exposition was the prototype of the modern escalator. Later, escalators were rapidly developed in various countries.
Working Principle of Elevator Air Conditioning

Air conditioning is the abbreviation of air conditioning. It is an engineering technology that can be used to cool, dehumidify, heat, humidify, ventilate, purify and other adjustment processes to obtain a fresh and comfortable air environment. The elevator air conditioner is installed on the elevator car, and condensed water cannot be directly discharged into the elevator shaft. In order to solve this problem, the elevator air conditioner generally uses a secondary evaporation method to re-evaporate the condensed water to keep the installation environment dry. In addition, in order not to affect the normal use of the elevator, the current elevator air conditioners are basically operated by pulling accompanying cables to prepare sufficient power supply.
The working principle of elevator air conditioners is basically similar to that of household air conditioners. Generally, they adopt steam compression refrigeration, which is mainly composed of compressors, condensers, capillaries, evaporators and auxiliary equipment. After the elevator air conditioner is powered on, under the refrigeration condition, the compressor compresses the low-pressure and low-temperature refrigerant vapor into high-pressure and high-temperature steam and discharges it to the condenser. At the same time, the axial flow fan on the outdoor side inhales outdoor air and forces it to flow through the condenser, taking away the heat released by the refrigerant, and condenses the high-pressure refrigerant vapor into high-pressure liquid, passing through the capillary refrigeration throttling element and entering the evaporator, causing the refrigerant liquid to evaporate into gas under the corresponding low pressure, while absorbing the latent heat of vaporization; at the same time, the air flowing through the evaporator is cooled by the centrifugal fan, and the cold air is blown into the room by the centrifugal fan, thereby achieving the refrigeration effect; in addition, the indoor air is inhaled by the fan through the return air filter, so that the indoor air circulates repeatedly, causing the indoor temperature to drop to the required temperature range, and finally achieving the purpose of cooling.
During the refrigeration process, since the temperature of the evaporator surface is generally lower than the dew point temperature of the indoor air being cooled, water vapor in the air will condense into water droplets during operation and continuously flow out from the evaporator surface. Therefore, in order to prevent the condensed water droplets from flowing into the elevator shaft, a secondary evaporation method is used for treatment, that is, the condensed water flows into the water accumulation tray, and the condensed water is thrown out by the axial flow fan and used to cool the condenser. At the same time, it will be heated to form water vapor, which is then blown into the elevator shaft by the fan to ensure a dry and safe installation and use environment.
Elevator air conditioners are uniquely designed based on the requirements of modern society for human health. They draw air from the elevator shaft and deliver fresh air to the car in the form of fresh air exchange. They are now widely used in various passenger elevators, medical elevators, sightseeing elevators, etc., especially in important public places such as high-end hotels, government agencies, hospitals, and office buildings. They can effectively avoid and prevent secondary pollution caused by air contamination of the elevator by passengers exhaling pathogenic bacteria or air inhaled by air conditioners and attached to the dust filter. In summary, elevator air conditioners are equipment used to improve the environmental comfort of the car. They can adjust the temperature, humidity, airflow and purify the air in the car to ensure the cleanliness of the air in the car.
