What are the precautions for the maintenance and care of rotary encoders?

 As a sensor for speed and displacement feedback, rotary encoders are mainly used in servo motors, asynchronous motors, stepper motors, elevator traction machines, elevator door machines and even mechanical shafts, which require automatic control of motion speed and displacement information feedback to ensure high-precision and stable operation of the machinery, thereby improving production efficiency and ensuring safe operation.

The rotary encoder should be kept clean at all times. After each operation, the dirt on the glass of the cab should be wiped clean. The exposed processing surface should be coated with butter to prevent rust. Each lubrication point should be filled with butter according to the requirements of the lubrication table. The wire rope should be kept lubricated and clean.

The rotary encoder operation part is often checked for leakage in the hydraulic system oil circuit. The hydraulic oil needs to be replaced regularly. The replacement cycle is generally twice a year. If the hydraulic oil has not deteriorated, it can be replaced once a year. Check whether the oil pipe connections are loose; whether the oil pump connection is tight and reliable (once a month). The inspection work mainly includes the inspection of mechanical connection points to see if there is misalignment, etc.; whether the wire rope is seriously damaged; whether the main winch is leaking oil; whether the instruments, indicator lights, and safety devices are working properly. Frequently check whether the structural connection bolts, welding parts and structural parts are damaged, deformed or loose.
