The operation mechanism of the elevator door system is as follows:
● Door opening action: When the elevator reaches the designated floor, the control system sends a door opening signal, and the door opening mechanism drives the car door and the floor door to open at the same time.
● Safety detection: During the door opening process, safety devices such as light curtains or safety touch panels will continue to detect whether there are obstacles. If there are obstacles, the door will stop closing or reopen.
● Door closing action: After confirming that there are no obstacles, the control system sends a door closing signal, and the door closing mechanism drives the car door and the floor door to close at the same time.
● Door lock detection: After the door is closed, the door lock device will detect whether the door is completely closed and locked. Only when the door is completely closed and locked can the elevator start running.
The maintenance of elevator door system is as follows:
● Regular inspection: Regularly check the elevator door system, including the damage of the door panel , door rail, door lock and so on.
● Cleaning and maintenance: Clean the elevator door system, such as the door rail and slider, that is to make sure the normal door’s fluent move.
● Lubrication maintenance: Lubricate the door system parts to reduce friction.
● Safety device detection: Check if the safety device is working appropriately, such as door sensors, safety touching panels, etc., to ensure that it can give feedback correctly when there are obstacles.
