Elevator communication Board Canny KLS-CCD-01A Elevator car Command board PCB
DESCRIPTION
An Elevator Car Communication Board is a critical component within the elevator system, facilitating the communication between the elevator car and other key control systems. It acts as a central interface that ensures seamless interaction between the various parts of the elevator, including the control panel, door mechanisms, sensors, motor drives, and safety systems. The communication board is fundamental for processing signals, relaying data, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the elevator.
Key Functions of an Elevator Car Communication Board
Signal Processing and Communication: The primary role of the elevator car communication board is to manage the flow of data between the elevator car and the central control system, such as the main controller and landing system. This involves:
Receiving commands from the elevator's control panel (i.e., the buttons pressed by passengers inside the car).
Sending status updates to the elevator control system, indicating the car’s current location, the selected floor, and the operational status of the door and safety systems.
Monitoring sensors within the elevator car, such as the weight sensors, door status sensors, and speed sensors, to ensure smooth operation.
The CCB processes and routes these signals to ensure that the elevator responds appropriately to commands, such as moving to the correct floor, opening or closing the doors, or triggering an alarm in case of an emergency.
